Submit to the Bulletin!

The best way for members learn about what other GCW weavers are up to is to share their projects, triumphs, and knowledge through the Bulletin!

We’re always looking for interesting, educational, and fun articles about weaving, weavers, textile practices are more. If you have a story idea you think would be a great fit for the Bulletin, please read our guidelines below to find out what we’re looking for and how to be in touch.

ARTICLE GUIDELINES

  • 250 - 500 words is standard (more? Please inquire)

  • Submit as a word document (no pdfs)

  • Send photos as jpg files. If you have a specific location in your article where you would like a photo to appear, please indicate using [image_name.jpg].

  • Submit photos in original format to maintain best possible quality for printing.

  • We reserve the right to exclusivity for 6 months after publication. The only exception is to a personal blog.

  • To obtain a copy of your published content, please contact our Publisher.


EVENT GUIDELINES

  • Announcements of guild sales and exhibitions are welcome from individual and affiliate guild members.

  • Weaving events only please.


DEADLINES

General submissions are accepted at anytime and will be published as space permits. For time sensitive submissions please reference these deadlines (publishing is approximately 5 weeks post deadline):

Spring - February 15th

Summer - May 15th

Fall - August 15th

Winter - November 15th
